Ray’s roots in the outdoors began as a child, hunting wild turkeys and whitetails with his dad in the Talladega National Forest. A love of “the woods” led to a B.S. in Forest Management (Auburn) and an M.S. in Forestry (LSU). Over the last 25 years he has worked in nearly every aspect of private forestry, including land management, wood procurement, land acquisition and disposition, and as Executive Director of the Alabama Loggers Council with the Alabama Forestry Association. His expertise in land management, local timber markets, and rural property – combined with the extensive network of outstanding land professionals who are part of the Mossy Oak Properties family – provides a unique opportunity for buyers and sellers to meet their specific objectives.
